Barcelona has been in incredible form at the start of the season and Hansi Flick has already had an immediate impact on the team. 4 games: 4 wins, 7 points ahead of Real Madrid having played a game more than them, 3 of them came against difficult opponents with a scoreline of 2-1, and today they produced a dominant performance against Real Valladolid from start to finish as they were ruthless clinical in front of goal, the players had fun on the pitch, they were absolutely dominant and looked as if they would’ve scored more than 7 goals and that’s how good they were. They’ve had so many injuries, he hasn’t gotten all the players that he’s wanted, they’re starting games with 17 years old and they don’t even have a lot of healthy center backs and they’ve gotten results while also playing well collectively.

There has been individuals who’ve really stood out so far. Robert Lewandowski has 4 goals in 4 games, Lamine Yamal on current form is arguably the best winger in the world and he’s only 17 years old, Dani Olmo has scored 2 goals in his first 2 games for Barcelona and it’s clear that he makes their team better despite some of the question marks about why they signed him and Raphinha has been their Swiss Army Knife player and has been an 8/10 no matter what position he’s had to play whether it’s on the left wing or as an attacking midfielder. It’s easy to say “oh it’s a newly promoted team”, last time I checked, Real Madrid has a lot of talent on paper, they played against this team beat them 3-0 and they weren’t all that great. Against these sort of teams they have to be winning convincingly and this is something that they struggled to do last season and it was a regular source of frustration among Barcelona fans as under Xavi yes they were able to get results given how much talent this team has, there was a feeling that they could’ve done better. Anyways, there’s still a long way to go in the season as they’ll drop points here and there and it’s too early to say that “they’re back and the title race is over”, even though everyone is going to gas up the team, the signs of what we’ve seen from this team looks good and imagine what they’ll be once they’re at full strength and it’s clear that Flick is going a good job with what he has at his disposal so far. If Barcelona can continue building on the momentum they have, they’ll have a great chance of winning La Liga and now that they have a proper manager who has a great set up for them tactically, we’ll see how they’ll fare under Flick in the champions league.

A strong Arsenal side said the same thing it’s a weaker Bayern last year. We addressed our biggest issue in cdm brought a potential wc attacker in olise and a coach who plays attacking football something all our players needed last season underestimate us at ur own peril. The last thing the Bayern players know hansi tactics like the back of their hand and just the psychological aspect of the tie the Barca squad might lose the game before even going into it. It's only been 4 games versus small teams. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Hansi Flick absolutely changed the team and it looks very promising, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Even though it feels like Flick can bring us back to the top of the league and even win the Champions League, we still gotta face the good teams. If we win convincingly versus Madrid and Bayern, then we can be really excited for the future. 4 games in, we gotta remain level headed. Because I remember a time when Xavi was making us win games 4-0... and nothing good happened in the Champions League.
