I like this as it is purely based on what they 'achieved' or 'failed to achieve' on the field. It will make more sense at the end of the regular season.

I cannot get behind the exclusion of Ole Miss and Ohio State when compared to the inclusion of LSU. LSU not only has a loss, but their only win is by 23 points vs an FCS team. Ohio States 2 wins are 46 and 56 point wins vs G5 teams and Ole Miss' 2 wins are by 76 vs an FCS team and 49 vs a G5 team. This completely contradicts everything you say in the criteria. Also, if LSU is ranked because they played a top 5 USC team close, what about all the other teams who had close losses against teams in your top 10 like Iowa losing by 1 to your #9 ranked Iowa State, Bowling Green losing by 7 to your #8 ranked Penn State, and Notre Dame losing by 2 to your #10 ranked Northern Illinois (and if the response is that you cant compare Iowa state to Northern Illinois, you just made that comparison legit by putting them next to each other in a top 25 poll)

If the purpose of this video is to show how dumb rankings are only 2 weeks into a season, then fair enough, i took the bait. But if you're genuinely trying to rank the performance of these teams so far in the season, even with so few datapoints, I still feel you missed the mark and ignored a lot of comparison points.

Pleasantly surprised to see NIU at 10. Go Huskies

How do you not have ole miss on there? Bias picks to say the least

How exactly is NC state or Michigan a better win than Clemson? I thought this was supposed to make sense

2 Weeks ago who would have imagined this Top 25 but pretty much spot on.

NIU 10? That’s very high. I could see it if you had ND in the top 20 or something

There shouldn’t be rankings until week say 8. When you basically have schools with completely new rosters every year you can’t effectively rank teams without watching them play games

Who’s the best 1-loss team after wk 2? Boise State? ND? LSU?

I love college football. Before the season people were saying it’s gonna be a crazy season, they were right.

I don’t know why I watched preseason polls are useless. I don’t look at a poll until October, I watch as many games as I can. I can figure out who’s for real and who’s not.

Ohio State is outside the top 25 after dominating its only opponents?

Everyone likes to dump on polls, which deserve angst, but then cling to the model, when forming their own opinions. This top 25 does make sense for the first 2 games played. It also points out the absurdity of trying to rank teams with such a small sample size. So, let the opinion arguments begin

I don't see PSU that high, and I'm a PSU fan.

ASU should be higher. BYU should have consideration.

OU almost lost to Houston, they don't belong here.

Good call keeping Ohio State off, they've beat nobody.

All things considered, a good list though.

I think it's almost perfect, except I don't see the justication to move Texas up and OSU down based on week 2. If anything, I could see moving Alabama down 1 to #5 and Ole Miss up to #4, but not even that was necessary just based on week2. Overall, this is a solid ranking

These rankings are irrelevant because we all know NIU winning it all

How much of the calculus is prorated for teams taking their foot off the gas? I’d also like to add roster analysis and depth needs to be considered way more here

Why is Alabama ranked #12 but Ohio State not in the top 25?

Cannot believe you don't have Ohio.State in the top 25.Yes, they may have played 2 week teams, but still I'll bet money. They'll beat 20 or more of the teams. You've got nap top twenty five.
