I'm in my 60s and am truly amazed at how sensibilities have become so delicate. How will people cope if and when hard times come?

I love hearing Warren discuss subjects with dissenting others.

He listens in full, does not cut them off, and addresses what they say with what he believes. He does not make assumptions about who they are by what they say and then attack them personally.
This is how you change minds or, at the very least, find common ground.

Yes. Being rude is not illegal because rudeness is subjective.

Imagine being a grown ass adult and wanting to censor somebody because your little feelings got hurt.

Sticks and stones may break my bones,
But words will never hurt me.

I’m 45 years old so I’m old enough to remember (fondly) the 80’s and 90’s but still young enough to see what’s happening to this younger generation. Growing up during those decades had it’s trials and one of those was learning to grow thick skin and not be so soft as to allow someone else to effect us. The fact that people allow another individual’s opinion to have such an effect is astounding to me. We have way too many beta males and females in this society. On the bright side, my kids have been raised to have thicker skin and understand that they ultimately have control of their own life and their own success.
In a world filled with so many people walking around be offended all of the time……my posterity is going to be fine! 👌

"What's your point?" is a question which should be asked a lot more.

I’m packing for a trip and just devoured 4 hours of your content and first off, on the off chance you’re still reading comments, I think you shouldn’t because it’s going to get in your head, your mission is sound, your skills are important and necessary AND i know you’ll up the production process and all that, I’m trying to communicate what you’re value is, I feel like I gained so much just from watching and listening to you in real time, some of the videos played again and I listened to them again because there’s SO MUCH VALUE in listening to the way you formulate your responses, build your questions, re access and redefine what the original argument or claim was. I am grateful to witness not professionals who are produced and are 5-20 years more experienced and resourced, but to watch/listen to your example of how to argue strongly but fairly. I am argumentative by nature and grew up with a brother 15 months younger and so I have discussions often and truly not as often as I’d like about Real subjects. I recognized through your example and the example of your off camera guests my own fallacies and where I can improve. I just want you to keep going so keep doing exactly what you’re doing with having people call in and have anonymous discussions. I love it and think it’s different. We need this modeled more in the world and you’re the guy to do it! You need to keep up with the channel as well as partner up with the many budding media companies that are aligned with free speech, open debates, logic, and evolution!
I see a huge career for you! Excited to watch the journey! Thanks for keeping me company while I pack! Can’t wait to listen to more!

I do think we need to also appreciate the other teacher who was willing to debate, to reconsider, to engage, and to have the video posted.

We cannot get more people to engage in debate if we attack them when they do. We SHOULD debate their opinions and ideas we disagree with, but appreciate that, at the very least, both teachers here are willing to engage without vitriol and with mutual respect. We need more of this!

Just found this channel. And already I would like to see him in conversation with Jordan Peterson. This guy/channel, deserves to blow up to huge numbers of subscribers.

Feeling upset when someone insults you is giving that person control over you to control how you feel. People dont really offend others, people allow themselves to feel offended.

To quote Thomas Sowell:

“I’ve often said there are three questions that would destroy most of the arguments on the left.

The first is: ‘Compared to what?’

The second is: ‘At what cost?’

And the third is: ‘What hard evidence do you have?’

Now there are very few ideas on the left that can pass all of those…”

I just recently became aware of Warren Smith. This is the best example I've seen of "ego-less arguing." Socrates would be proud.

I find it hard to believe the other person is a teacher. Mean tweets hurt my feelings is a terrible place to be. Love it Warren. Please keep up the great content.
