Want to know how a wind turbine foundation is made?

This video shows the construction of one of the 31 foundations that will support the wind turbines at the San Roman Wind Farm (Texas). These 3m–deep and 21m-diameter structures create a solid base for the giant machines whose blades reach almost 500 feet high.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that they don't dig these up and remove them to reduce any environmental impact when the turbine is torn down.
