The International Day for the Eradication of Poverty promotes just, peaceful, and inclusive societies and raises awareness of the global poverty crisis. Poverty in all its forms can and must be eliminated, ending discrimination and exclusion and reducing the inequalities and vulnerabilities that leave people behind.
