Personally I don't think they ever even meant to put any such detail. Its just us humans who likes to find meanings in the most meaningless of places. The movie was good altogether but the your mehendi explanation was never an intended part of the movie. And if its not intentional, its not unintentional either.

Sorry to say there were no such thing called details here, you just made a good real out of nothing.. On a more practical note, The fact is that for the outdoor shooting the crew has a visa for limited period and they completed the same in that limited time in a single schedule, so with every passing day the colour of heena faded and thus gave you a great idea to make this real👏👏
