Canadian Kraft Dinner is different in the US!?🇺🇸

Not only is the utensil on the box different, but it tastes different too. But, they're both made by Kraft, so why are there even two different version for each country?

Compare the ingredients lists. There is no cheese and a lot of chemicals in the US KD. There is real cheddar cheese and recognizable food ingredients in KD in Canada. Canadians demand better quality, even in processed foods.

Flavors and tastes change all across North America. For example Ketchup. The acidity, sweetness, spiciness, all change according to where you live.
Ketchup in Louisiana is different from ketchup in New York, and the same with ketchup from Texas to ketchup in California. Each area has slightly different tastes in food and those differences are also reflected in ketchup.
The same thing for ketchup in the U.S. and ketchup in Europe.

We don't think it's an entire dinner. It's a starchy side dish.

When I was working in the US I noticed a great deal was different in Canadian to US brands, Campbell soup and Kraft dinner ( Mac and Cheese ), Yellow chicken with feather stems ( yuck) pretty much everything was different, I found the chocolate bars in the UK where similar to Canada, but the US was different.

I always eat Kraft Dinner with a spoon, but I like mine extra milky. I also prefer Presidents Choice White cheddar over KD

They are TOTALLY different! But as a cdn now in tn I’m getting used to Kraft macaroni and cheese. I add an ounce of grated orange cheddar and it actually makes it more like KD, believe it or not! 🧀 🐭 😂❤😂

Canadian KD is a meal whereas US Mac & cheese is a side…and less tasty

I quit eating Kraft Dinner, my favourite food, years ago, when it began tasting like industrial floor scrapings.🇨🇦. Went to Fl this year and was horrified to see we were having it at a friends’ house. So good! I don’t think it was plain KD, though. Think it was some variation.
