Sadly the UFC's bad management played a big role in him retiring because he kept trying to get a fight but a lot of the fighters in his division didn't want to take that risk(I know his health problem was a factor also in his retirement but the thing is he cured that problem with a surgery but after that he found out that he lost interest in fighting therefore retired in silence..)
