2023 BMW XM: Is This Really Worth The $165,000 Price Tag?

I took delivery of a XM a few months back. Your comments are fair….but the car is fun…..and it gets a ton of looks. believe it or not i get more complements in this thing than any other car I’ve owned (and I’ve owned a ton of cars, super cars, exotics, etc). You won’t get that in a X5M

Price is the major issue. If this were $220k+ like the Urus, DBX, or G63 I think people would understand its place in the market as a “niche” super SUV for the new money influencers, celebrities, etc. But for $165k, it has no direct market competition apart from BMW’s own X5m and X6m which can be had for $30k less.

The new BMW XM looks good, however I prefer the MB GLE AMG 63s in the black out trim and black wheels wow what a SUV.

Definitely wouldn’t pay that for this offering. I’m sure I’ll see them in the school pickup line though.

Not worth it. As you mentioned, the X5M would be a better deal.

For this price it needs the 7 series rear theater screen and the reclining rear seats.

the alphina XB7 is cheaper, faster, and has more cargo space also from BMW!!! maybe even a X5 M is a better deal. This car is a money grab.

It's essentially a over-badged rendition of the upcoming X8. The X8 will feature the same guts & interior luxury appointments of the 7 series car with the body of this XM.

It will be slightly more expensive than it's X7 counterpart.

I reviewed the BMW XM and i must say it actually gorgeous and unique in its ways!
The design is unique, looks like it's from a video game! But it then conflicting theme between M Series and Rolls Royce 😂
I must say it is worth it the fact that it's unique, i like it, but it's also true for its price, somethings felt off.

I love BMW and I own BMW cars but if I were to spend over $160k, I would go with Porsche

Nothing that rotates 4 wheels is worth 165k, but beautiful car nonetheless.
