Episode 17: How the remote tailgate works!!! Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV 2021

So after owning this car for 5 months, I accidently worked out how the remote tail gate works..Doh!

Well, I was never showed, but apparently you have to press the button twice for it to work!

Yay, and all along I was thinking that the remote fob, was just one that was used in the top " Exceed" model, and they used it in my GSR model, but it was just a dummy button.

It's probably to prevent the tailgate from accidently opening, however in all the years I owned Subarus with this function I never "accidently" opened the boot with my fob, so I reckon it's a bit stupid to press it twice!!
