That's 8 straight wins against Anaheim for L.A.

I didn't really like the Kings defensively this game. Too many defensive lapses to feel comfortable with, and while I feel Anderson's absence was part of that, they'll need to clean that up without him, because he won't be back for at least the next 3 games.

Offensively, they were much better, but no 5-on-5 scoring for the second consecutive game isn't ideal. Although I will say, compared to last game, they had far more quality chances tonight, and probably would've had a few if not for Gibson's monster performance in net. So I can't be too upset about it, but they have to do better against the Oilers come Monday.

As I previously mentioned, Gibson was fantastic for the Ducks. He seriously needs to get out of Anaheim asap. I would love to see him on a contending team, and I'd hate to see him continue to waste his career away with the Ducks, because he's a phenomenal goalie.

2 out of 3 games isn't bad on the home stand, but the next 3 games will be the real test for the Kings. A three game road trip against the Oilers, Flames, and Canucks. They need to win at least 2 of those games to keep pace in the division, and to firmly hold onto that 1st Wildcard spot.

I’m disappointed the kings won tonight, I really wanted to beat Nashville the other night a lot more than I wanted to beat Anaheim. I can’t stand Nashville, but I like Anaheim
