I watched the film for the first time over the weekend. I didn't, I couldn't recognize Gary from the film. I had to look up the actor/musician but the actor in the film--the obvious name didn't click in my head with the actor I already knew--nope. I was so impressed by his performance I had to find out who this guy was! Was he a musician or actor or both & how in heaven did he do such a beyond outstanding performance? This morning I read & the evidence had to be put right in front of my nose--read it baby. It was *THAT* Gary Busey--the actor I was already so familiar with. I was floored. I cannot even believe it. Indeed he knocked that performance way out of the ballpark. I've gained a brand new respect for Gary. Beyond unbelievable performance. Wow!
