Marysville's newest pump track is now open

The city’s new pump track at Jennings Nature Park is now open! The story behind this project is inspiring.

Nearly three years ago, when he was 7 years old, Landon Oliphant presented to our Parks, Culture and Recreation Advisory Board about why the city should build a pump track here.

Now, fast forward to Oct. 30, 2023, when Mayor Jon Nehring led the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the completed pump track with City Council President Kamille Norton, Councilmembers Peter Condyles and Tom King, members of the Marysville Parks, Culture and Recreation Advisory Board, city staff, contractors and more. Landon and his family were present to celebrate and roll out the first official ride.
