Homemade PESTO & PIZZA - Cooking with Kids

Sorry about some missing footage when I added 2 cloves of garlic. Here’s the recipe:

Leaves from 3 stems of fresh basil
1/4 cup pine nuts
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic
2 pinches salt & few grinds of pepper

Add all ingredients to a food processor, blitz until puréed. While food processor still running, add 1/2 cup olive oil.

To make pesto cream sauce:

Heat 1/2 cup whipping cream and 1 tablespoon butter in a saucepan, add pesto. Simmer on low for 3-5 mins.

Enjoy!
