I think 99% of our fans will disagree with me here, im used to it as im deluded...

The 5-4-1 decsion turned out to hinder us and be the wrong decision yes (thats not where youll disagree), but i understand why Riza has done the changes and deployed that formation and as a result think that blame on him needs to be lighten because theres factors at play that have led to him making that decision, it wasnt purely tactical. He could clearly see how well we started the 2nd half. I don't doubt that with how he turned us around in such a short time.

He stated throughout the week about players' fitness such as Ralls, Robbo, etc. So it was inevitable that some of those guys wouldn't play a full 90. In addition to this, (which IS the tactical side) there was several moments in the first half where Bristol broke our midfield line with a splitting forward pass, and their player receiving it would have acres of space and plenty of time to turn, pick out a pass or do anything he wanted in the centre of the pitch and infront of goal. It made sense that the players you bring on aim to stop that from happening in the 2nd half (which they did) by having a very narrow midfield 4 off the ball and 3 centre halfs behind them, forcing bristol out wide and away from goal, where there is the least threat (theoretically). Bristol peppered the box with crosses and they ultimately score from one. I think what this truly shows, isnt a tactical incomptence of Riza, but rather an inability to defend aerial duels/chances as they seemed to win most headers/crosses.

Going forward (granted he's in charge) they may look to set up "traps" to force play inside and win the ball back there when up against a side that'll beat us in the air for crosses. I could go on forever (as though I haven't already) about what dangers that may bring etc. Thats the thrill of management though, sometimes you take risks and they dont pay off. So overall, dont get on his back for going 5-4-1 because theres alot of factors in play. Finally, we actually had 5 at the back in many moments of the first half, Tanner was RWB alot and found himself next to Ng alot. Check the average postions if you dont believe me.

P.s we should've been 2/3-0 up by the time they equalised so if you wanna vlame anyone, blame the players for not capitalisong on those moments. Disclaimer: I thought each player was brilliant and the coaching staff too.

Welcome to discuss with anyone. 🐦🐦🐦

I like this Riza guy, he talks and seems so much more real than Bullet, got players respect too by looks.
We should have come away with e points but 2 unbeaten is a massive improvement.
I wouldn't play Kanga though, not been too impressed with the boy if im honest and polite.
Colwell was superb.

Opportunity missed for me, going defensive with 20mins to play let Bristol back into it.

Much improved performance, Tanner and Colwill have a good relationship which is great to see. Robertson looks a player too.

This team is better than the league position in my view.

Small steps but positive ones, need the correct manager appointed now.
