Glad this was recommended, good summary of things I hadn't seen! The biggest problem with Niantic is that up to now they prefer to 'encourage' going outside by making the remote parts worse. Would be much better to just add bonuses to the in person stuff so that it doesn't negatively affect the people who need the remote parts to be involved properly.

And obviously if they do in person events like regidrago, they should make sure it actually works next time. They've not got a good history with that lol

Absolutely agreed with Diana…. They should improve both features and not only focus on in-person events. I feel like Niantic is auto-sabotaging and if they implement a 100% in-person game they will lose a lot of gamers and eventually the game will disappear due the lack of interest of people. Hopefully they start listening more the community and stop being so hardheaded.

adding benefits for irl events is pretty good, but nerfing remote raiding is just dumb. Hope they don't fumble the bag

Yes, remote raids make a lot of money, but they make more money from sponsor's. if people aren't out at the sponsors spending the stops, they can't prove that people were there because of the game.

They should really make elite raids more available and not so sparse, location-wise. I was barely able to get regidrago today with only like 3 mins left upon finally finding one.
