My pick from speech of Dr. Shashi Tharoor, " I am a Hindu because it is an intellectual fit". God bless you sir, I see you as an Ambassador of India's soft power.

I am happy that he is Hindu and he acknowledge himself. He is truly an Indian and don't allow anyone to destroy our Indian spirituality.

Hinduism is the most intelligent, respectful, and liberated way of living in the whole world, as far as I am concerned. As I leaned more and more about Hindu philosophy, I naturally became a Hindu - no conversion as such!

I converted to Hinduism from Christianity because it makes much more sense; for example, Christianity sees the universe as being stagnant with everyone ending up in two big bins of either heaven or hell Hinduism sees the world as cyclical the soul gets recycled, that's how the world actually works, alsoit is far more fun.

Tharoor says, "There are simply no binding requirements for me being a Hindu, not even a belief in God."

That's the beauty of Hinduism.

Tharoor is amazing. When he speaks he forms vocabulary-rich English sentences that can grace any book, almost without having to pause and think. They just pour out of him. And the content of these sentences always seems sensible and intelligent. Tharoor almost makes me want to become a Hindu.

I converted from Christianity to Spirituality, in which we see all as self. Hinduism being the foundation. I bought this book, Sir Shashi Taroor signed it. ❤️

Tolerance is a wrong word, it should be mutual respect.

To put it succinctly: Hinduism is similar to a democracy whilst most other religions are almost autocratic in their essence.

Many may me shocked to know that there are still many Hindus in NE parts of India. I am a KHASI from Meghalaya and i considered myself a Hindus not necessarily as mainland indians but for the fact that i was born and retaining the faith of our ANCESTORS..

Hinduism never believes in caste system. It was later brought, by external influences. Also we never believe in conversion. This makes me proud of my relegion just like your relegion makes you proud.
