A level MATHs 2020 Binomial expansion theorem Edexcel exam-style questions | How to use Pascal's triangle | Exam-style questions for A-level Year 1
This Pure MATHs 1 video where you can have a practice for Binomial Expansion ( relevant to A level Year 1 and Year 2). Here, we will also be applying Pascal’s triangle in order to find coefficients of specified term. This video contains Exam-style questions for A-level Year 1 Edexcel board
There, I was explaining how to construct or build Pascal’s triangle in a few seconds, so that it will give you advantage for finding coefficients in questions where you are supposed to find a coefficient before a specified term and especially in questions where you need to fully expand a binomial expression.
It also incorporates binomial theorem and sigma notation for expanded form of binomial expressions, however the main stress was made on convenience of pascal's triangle in contrast to combination coefficients calculations.
That video also shows you how to find the nth term and its coefficient using a simple formula / equation.
