Blizz should rather than nerf the mobs assign one GM to be responsible for this and other bot farms, one GM for each zone/farm, they have enough... It takes a moment for them to pop in, ban the bots and leave, checking every couple hours or so. The problem atm is that no-one is being held responsible for this when it happens.

I find it very telling that most private servers are able to stop bots. But of course you don’t have the monthly subscription with private servers

I don't think blizzard is uncapable to solve the botting problem, they actually want botting, it helps their income. They simply can't openly act like they want botting or are ok with it in front of the players.
For example, I can quickly come up with a solution: If a character obtains more than a certain amount of raw gold or raw material, significantly more than the average rate of all players for over 10 hours (except through trading), turn on its pvp mandatorily for the next 24 hours. When a character is already in this state and still surpasses the threshold in 1 hour, it ranks up into pvp-on with all other characters (even with other bots so bots can AOE themselves) for the next 72 hours. And then limit the number of characters an account can create per week, for example 20.

Lately there have been bots farming essence of water at the bottom of eastern kingdoms and in revendreth above sanguine depths dungeon entrance ( with and without warmode on ) farming raw gold and cloths

i was in a mythic+2 today, with 3 bots, 0 runs done within the time, all 50% over timelimit. all geared 609 itemlevel but very very very low dps/healingdone. we died on trash, healer couldnt keep up. only used 3 spells. these bots are insanely bad

A delay is dealing with bots doesn't necessarily mean nothing is being done. If you simply ban the bots they tend to just create new accounts and come back quickly so it's often better to instead allow the bots to continue while you study what they are doing with a view finding a way to completely preventing their activity (for example figuring out what software they are using and add signatures to the anti cheat to detect it). This is why you see a lot of games tend to have large ban waves every so often.

I used to use this spot for level grinding till the bots started exploiting it, now I can barely tag a mob here and questing there is hardly possible. With the hyper spawn rate, I'm still surprised these mobs drop loot cause the quest associated with them isn't really long.

in df in spillage there are lots of bots and bizard does nothing, it also benefits from that

Tried reporting them, 2 weeks later they are still there, same names and all. Opened a ticked for zone disruption since this is the best spot to farm lockboxes for the insane achieve... Got told by an automated message to use the report system ._.
