My father was dying from metastatic lung cancer when he came to my wedding. He had 6-8 weeks to live. Unbeknownst to me he took my new father in law aside and asked him if he’d be my dad because he wouldn’t be around much longer. That’s the best gift I’ve ever gotten. A girl gets two great dads. ❤❤❤❤❤

I miss my dad everyday. My ex deserves every type of punishment on Earth for separating me and my 10-year old son years ago. He grew up to be a good man, because of my effort and his effort. We have great memories, but I will never forgive my ex for the sadness she caused him.

My dad abandoned me and didn't give a rats ass about me, his grandkids, his daughter in law and his own daughter. I am the father that my children will bury with sadness and strong memories of love and commitment, of seeing a strong man who got it done. So my father didn't matter and because of that I will refuse to not matter

My father is an abusive narcissist, thank God he wasnt around to raise me and I only had to deal with him like once or twice a year. I pray for those whom have to deal with that kind of father that you find peace and forgiveness so that you may have a more happy and fruitful life. To those whom have or had a good dad be blessed continually and be grateful for the time you did and do have with him.

Not true my dad was never there for me, and when had the chance he put me down un front if a friend. So ye not having a father there causes a lot of fuct up feelings and behaviour but i refuse to be a victim.
