This sounds a lot like my father. He always likes to spout “Honor your father and mother” and “Wives, submit to your husbands” but completely ignore “Do not provoke your children to anger” or “Husbands, love your wives…”

Everyone reading this, please pray for my narcissistic Muslim mother. I ran away at 18 because of how bad it was, and ended up finding Jesus after a few years. Jesus helped me to forgive my mother, but we haven't had much contact in the last few years. It's now been 7 years. God has been doing much to try to humble her, although not sure if she's humbled just yet. She has stage 4 cancer, and I am praying for salvation and healing miracle.

My Goodness! This was exactly my X-Girlfriend I broke up with a week ago! She Spoke in tongues, prophesied, using scripture against me and said passive/aggressive statements. She would rarely use the word God, but called God “Pappa” or “Abba”.

Yes, she was definitely a “White wash” Christian… I’ve been praying and recovering this week from the mental and emotional damage she caused.

God is healing my wounds as I pray and read the Bible each day.🙏 I’m feeling better, but still have a way to go.

I too struggled to see through my ex husband’s true facade because he knew the Bible inside and out and I would alway second guess myself. It took 26 years to finally walk away. But not before the Holy Spirit started showing me his true self and what he was really doing to me. Praise God I got out. I thank God for this healing journey I am on now. I too feel pity and a little frustration for him because we have to coparent and I feel as though I am parenting him as well!! Nevertheless, I am free of him and his toxic hold!! I am praying for all those still left in those relationships that God would open the eyes of the victims that remain and lead them out. ❤

“Submission feeds a narcissist’s entitlement.” You said a mouthful with that. I was married to a covert who actually morphed into a malignant because I was submissive (in action, even if not in words). He tried to destroy me when I divorced him. I know my submission caused him to be extra brave and cruel with me because he was terrified of his ex wife the entire time we were together….but he treated me like he was the big boss. It took me a while to realize it was not an actual defect of mine that caused him to behave like a dictator with me while obviously respecting and fearing his ex. These people are very messed up! They take advantage of kindness and abuse good people. They only respect those who will hurt them.

The Lord knew I needed this. God healed my hurts from dealing with spiritual narcissists and delivered me from people pleasing and giving me discernment, not allowing myself to be manipulated or guilted into following their need. I would always weigh their actions against the word of God and there was no fruit. I would beat myself up thinking something was wrong with me but God. God bless you for this labor of love and truth!

I knew things were wrong at my church. I had no choice but to cut ties. Lies were spoken of me, and leadership believed it.
But I want to thank you for helping understand it all better, with the Light of His Truth!!!!

My mother, a former pastor’s wife, was Mother of the Year in public but a toxic abuser behind closed doors. She ruined our family.

I cannot thank you enough for revealing the truth about narcissistic behavioral patterns. I was under so much psychological abuse, I really thought there was something wrong with me... she made me believe that I was the root of all her problems. She was an alcoholic, hidden from me for years, she quit, and started smoking cannabis, a lot of it... then the true narcissistic person came out of her fog with a vengeance. She made it impossible for me to live a normal life with her. She wanted a baby, at 50, going thru menopause, she wanted me to make her dreams come true, she kicked me out of the bedroom, she quit her job, she looked for ways daily to make my life a living hell, to what end? It finally took its toll on me, 2 weeks after I warned her, if she didn't stop, I would either have a heart attack or a stroke, I had a stroke. Left me partially blind in my left eye. When I experienced the loss of vision, I asked her to take me to emergency, when we got in the car, she threw up her hands and screamed, "who's going to take care of me?"
When we arrived at the hospital, she dropped me off and left me there. It ended in divorce, where she ran through me emotionally and financially like a chain saw, scorched earth policy. We have a NO CONTACT ORDER, for LIFE.... the good news: Jesus used this event to drive me back to the fellowship of believers, and on my knees in prayer... Amen... Thanks for helping me understand what I was married to and why it failed.... Your coaching is superb.... bless you in alll you do.

This is so very good! My birth father is a pastor and also a very bad narcissist! I can not tell you just how spot on this message is. This is amazing to me. I don't believe in helping a narcissist to heal unless you are a professional, but I do believe in praying for them when possible while having no contact because they are so incredibly dangerous for your soul and spirit's well being.
