Dale’s case is currently pending, and the trial date is coming this December. If he is found guilty, he’s serving the rest of his natural born life in prison with no opportunity for parole. Maybe he’ll pick on somebody his own size for years and decades to come in prison.

I relate to the brother. We had a frightening childhood, too, and it inspired my brother to never have kids and me to wait until 10 (excessive) years into my marriage to make sure my home was 110% safe and stable.

It’s even sadder when you have to hear “the children are better/are probably better off in foster care.” Because we all know how f**ked up it is & that they could suffer just as much in there. But I hope they’re finally being treated well, are protected and getting the help they need. They also deserve justice and I hope they get it…
