Will There Be a New Line 6 Helix in 2024?

Is Line 6 going to release a new Helix in 2024? With its impressive history and the recent acquisition by Yamaha, it's hard to imagine Line 6 falling behind. What do you think?

I'm ok with more updates, but if they release a new line of these products then I'm sure they'll make it future proof as well. I'd probably buy one. I'm not usually an early adopter, but when a company has proven they don't give up on their products after 9 years then it gives me confidence.

If they keep supporting the old Helix hardware and come out with a new hardware unit, I think it would give them an edge. Many people are on the edge of which modeler to get. Knowing the proucts that people have bought will still be a good investment for years to come will give many much confidence that their money is well spent.

I am so tempted to buy one, but I am concerned about the age of the device and that a new one will be released soon. I expect any new one would have a touch screen etc....

I think the software system doesn't need to change. Improvements in modeling tech and adding advanced features like profiling, parameter modulators, side chaining that can benefit from increased DSP are all that's needed. In addition to newer hardware with more DSP, what I'd like to see is a system update that allows the integration of DSP boxes and other HX units for increased DSP. Kinda like with each unit daisy chained over the USB bus and slaved to a master device, they appear as another available DSP path on the master device.

New updates are always welcome. It feels like getting a random gift sometimes. But even then I think if I had to do over with my rig I’d still buy a helix because of how much I’ve been able to do with it and how little time you need to make things work the way you want it to. I think I would get the rack version though just for personal preference

I'd be very happy with an HX Stomp with double DSP. I control it with midi, so I don't need the size of a big Helix, but sometimes I miss the double DSP.

Ive been recently seeing my hx stomp really struggling with it's amount of dsp, I've started using an actual amp and seperate ir to try and keep it usable with things that use more dsp

My guess is within a year or 2 they’ll introduce a new helix which is around the same size as the Quad cortex. Maybe even a touch screen finally!
