My artist asked me before he put his gloves on if he could put his ear buds in and I watched one fall out as he ignored it and I asked if he wanted to grab it, and his response was that it was unsanitary, a sanitary artist will put his headphones on before he even starts the process and he won't take them out till a break where he takes the gloves off And then he sanitized his gun and replaced the film he had on to keep in sanitary in the first place. This would be standard procedure

As an introvert, I hate talking to my barber and tattoo artist. Listen to music, and do your thing 😂👌

I'm not entirely against headphones, however noise cancelling headphones are a hard no. I think a Bluetooth speaker would be a better option, just so we can communicate.

Funny thing, I had insomnia so bad and meds were bad for me, so I was put through 2 sleep studies but never hit REM sleep even with meds during them. I told the Dr I could get the best healing sleep during and after a tattoo so he wanted to do an experiment. I had blood drawn, an MRI and CT scan 2 days before a 6 hour tattoo session then went directly to the sleep clinic from the tattoo shop. I had blood drawn, ate, had blood drawn again and fell asleep while they were hooking up the monitoring equipment then had another MRI and CT the next day. He expected to find proof I wasnt sleeping and was actually passed out from the trauma of the tattoo, but instead had to admit my tests showed I had experienced healthy healing sleep after the long session. He even spoke with my artist to make sure he could care for my art that first night while I just slept.
