Added note: When I first heard the tagline "Ninjas Play Free", I (stupidly) thought it meant Ninja was a Free-To-Play class or something and everything else was behind a paywall.

Welp I watched the whole video. Really looking at that color scheme gave me an enjoyable time.

I started Warframe in 2015-2016 on Xbox when I was waiting for the new Destiny DLC, and back when fusion cores were a thing. My first prime was Paris, and I fell of when I hit Mars(I stopped at like MR 5-6). I came back to Warframe when Destiny 2 launched and it was like a breath of fresh air. Devs that weren't greedy, and not being held under the fat thumb of Activision.

So much had changed, the fusion cores were gone, the orbiter had rooms, and my scrub ass could have been like MR 15 when D2 launched. Now I sit at MR 13, running sorties with friends, and being endlessly frustrated at the Silver Grove quest. My only grind now is MR 14 for Euphona(?) prime and helping out newer players and I did in Destiny.

This is the kind of series that I find years after completion and watch/listen to all at once. Keep it please

Dear Rahetalius, I am sorry to inform you that Black Desert Online has also fallen to shitty, squeeze money out of everything possible publishing and developers. Even the basic outfits cost real money to acquire, despite it being a paid game. My sincere condolences.

2:06 This brings me back to the old days of Warframe. I started in Jan-Feb 2014 on PS4 around the time Oberon came out after failing to run it on my laptop a couple months before. I remember Rhino Prime being the newest shit, how the liset freeroam didnt exist yet and all you had was your warframe above the starchart, no parkour 2.0 or any cinematic quests.

But what you said about having your mind blown by the devs allowing platinum to be traded is probably the reason I still play Warframe to this day, on top of the core gameplay and constant updates. I personally have never spent any money on DLCs for any game I've ever owned, but to have a free game that by allowing plat trading practically removes all paywall barriers on top of free updates is nothing short of amazing.

Your description of WF when you entered brought back memories of the shit that's been replaced lmao. It's kinda funny how fast I forgot about all that.

I'm glad you like the Vauban Prime Train! I made that thing in 30 minutes with a mouse and no expectations. When I saw that upgrade sequence in the Warlord video I just sat there in shock. If I ever get the chance I'll try to make a good version if i ever get a hold of a tablet.
Cheers!

(P.S. also is your upcoming glyph gonna use the train?)

Whoa man, you literally started when I stopped. I've been back a month and really enjoying all the new shit to do. Appreciate the archive of high-quality content offered on this channel to fill me in on the nonsense that went down in the interim.

Scindo prime is still sick. One of my first weapons, my first prime and still my favourite weapon in the game.

I got into this game in a similar way. I was addicted to Vindictus (fairly similar to C9) but I quit because I couldn't handle what the publishers were doing to it. Hopped back and forth between games until I got into a random public squad where a few people helped me out in my newbie days. It was the community that drew me in.

Being knocked around by Moas and Bombers/Napalms is the best feeling ever.

My tldr warframe story: I used to be a console junkie but it was in late middle school nearly 7 years ago my friend got me into pc gaming. Now, I come from a poor house so I couldn't just buy everything off steam so I lived off of new Vegas and skyrim but for multiplayer I found myself trying out all the f2p play forms tf2 etc it was then I found war thunder. It was around the time amazing and combined the grind that was rewarding and manageable and ww2 which I loved. This lasted about 4 years when the devs just lost their hearts...they made the grind impossible and where premium vehicles had just been copies of the normal tree but with grind bonuses now become things the players begged to be added to the game only for the devs to lock it behind a pay wall. A way to squeeze more money out. It was at this time warframe came around, its movement system was fun, the graphics for a f2p were stunning and even better today the ease of gaining plat was amazing it became my new war thunder and I'm glad I found it

It’s almost been a year, since I came into warframe, since my friends dragged me into one of the best games I have ever played all along. It’s sort of a coincidence that when I join it was valkyr prime access, and right now valkyr prime is literally my fav warframe. I’ve played so much of this game with 1400+ hrs (maybe 1500) and I’m still not bored of it. I manage to find something to do once in a while. If it’s not index credit farm, then it’s afk kuva farm, or endless fissures and selling them for plat, so I can buy warframe slots and weapon slots to level up shit for the mastery.
