Okay but are we gonna talk about how terrible Kim did? Like at first glance she looks great, but there’s a lot more to it. If you didn’t already know the dress Kim wore was originally worn by Marilyn Monroe in 1962 (which isn’t even in the gilded age). This dress was one of Marilyn’s more iconic looks and it was designed to fit her body and match her skin tone so it looked like she was wearing only diamonds. I feel like an outfit this historical shouldn’t be worn again. Especially not by Kim Kardashians. The color of the dress doesn’t match Kim’s skin tone, which was the intention of the dress itself. The makeup and the hair aren’t helping either. Kim even admitted to the dress not fitting over her butt, so that’s why she wore the weird scarf thing. It’s just appalling to me that they would let somebody like Kim Kardashian wear such an iconic and stunning dress that is a treasure. It should have never been worn by anybody other than Marilyn. Kim Kardashian ruined the iconic dress and failed to honor Marilyn.
