I always wonder if these creeps who lurk in the shadows and the woods aren’t scared some other creep would attack them🤔

A guy is holding a stop sign pretending to be a construction worker in an area with obviously no construction, while another man comes out from the woods with a baseball bat. It was at this point that OP thought "say, this might be a trap." Still with less than 100% confidence of course. We can't be certain.

1.) Don’t ever get out of your car until you’re home or have an absolute flat even then I rather grind the axle then be trapped in the middle of nowhere
2.) If you are being followed do not I repeat do not bring them to your home or work ect you’re just asking for trouble try to find your nearest police station or fire department and hope for the best
3.) if you already lead a stalker to your home there’s no way of knowing what they can do and how sinister their intentions can be
4.) trust is a given for most honest people being out right and telling the truth is natural con men confidence man take predatory advances on honest people
5.) even friendships and family you thought were solid can turn into a disaster stay even keeled and mind your own unless you’re fighting for the betterment of humanity getting involved in other business trying to be a Good Samaritan you might end up getting you your family or someone else hurt

In 'Story No. 2' & 'No. 3'; those people were utterly foolish to drive to their homes while knowingly being followed! If you suspect you’re being followed, you should, if possible drive to a police station, or at least a well lit and populated area. NEVER LEAD A POTENTIAL THREAT TO YOUR PLACE OF RESIDENCE!! If you were being stalked by some sort of predator, who had targeted you for some reason; by going home, you’ve only shown them exactly where they can find you at their leisure.

you led a person to your home address??? Yeah, don't ever do that. Go to a 711, an all night gas station or even a local police station. Wherever you go do not go to your HOME address!

It's kinda sad that no one is a helpful person anymore. I just find it so odd that, rather than the majority of people being helpful upstanding citizens, that the general public sees them with so much suspicion and even more terrifying is the fact that those sceptical people are probably correct in their assumption. 😢
