Competitive arm wrestling isn't something one would normally associate math professors with. Let us introduce you to David Gunderson who teaches math in the Faculty of Science's Department of Mathematics. He used to arm wrestle competitively and hasn't lost a match since 1982. I had 2 sneaky arm wrestling moves in high school and I rarely lost:
- try to keep it up straight and don't take them down until they look tired.
- deceptively, pull a little towards yourself without them realizing it. It saves your strength and depletes theirs.
