That little boy is all of us when we break our rc cars in the middle of a good bash xD

Muffled sound way better than wind noise

I'll take the slightly muffled RC sounds over the horrendous wind noise any day. Good job Kev!

I think the MT10 is more durable, it took Mad Max a whole video to break it and he cheated 😂, would love to see a Kagama on the channel soon! Great video as always Kev!

I think that mic quality in the wind is just fine. Its a perfectly acceptable compromise in my opinion. Also looking forward to seeing more on this car from you 👍

I love my Associated SC10 Short Course racer. MT10 is the same car with Monster Truck tires. Associated parts are plentiful, one can find 'Better than Stock' parts and you know they wont go out of business.
The Worlds Cheapest R/C car gets expensive if you have to buy a 2nd parts donor car to fix the 1st one.

I'd rather have NO wind noise over hearing an RC!! THANK YOU!!!! I am not really into rc cars. I do have a couple of nitro trucks, but i don't use them. However, I really enjoy watching your content!

Hey kevin ! Love your videos, just wanted to give you a shop trick, When tapping threads into aluminum, chuck the tap into a drill, put some oil on the tap, run it in, then back it out with the drill.. .. there y ago, Bob's your uncle, much smoother tapping, not klunky like using a tee handle. .we use taps like that on a daily basis, I've broken more taps by hand then with the drill tric. Also, smoother threads, and straighter too ..
Cheers Mate ! Steve from South Dakota U.S.A. : )

I bought a Associated MT10 when you reviewed it and changed out the lower A arms because you did. It is still going strong although I do not bash like you do. It was a very good choice.

In the US, the Quantum Flux is about $90 cheaper than the MT10. Despite the breakage, it just might be the best value 1/10 truck.

I got my son a MT10 for Christmas last year (he turned 5 this last summer) and it has been really good. Like anything, it does have its wear and tear and finding replacement parts is decently easy. A few things to note for anyone who is looking to get one. The bodies are expensive ($50 in the US) and actually kind of tough to find at times. I have had to replace the receiver as it started to get squirrely but I have a SC10 pro 4 (very similar to MT10 but the short course truck version. All electronics are exactly the same) and havent had any issues with mine, so it may have just been a one off. The arma granite or the traxxas stampede do seem much easier to find parts/bodies for but the MT10 isn't terrible, its just somewhat harder

Getting rid of the windnoise is more important than muffling the rc sound.

What a beautiful place to live. I know this is about RC truck bashing but your videos really inspire me to travel also!!!

I have both of these and absolutely dig both of them. I broke the front control arm on my Rival MT10 on the 3rd jump( and it was not really a big jump either) I haven’t broke anything on my Maverick yet. Think it was just one of those bad landings and in the cold as well. I equally abuse them both. I’ve had to adjust the slipper on the Maverick once and popped a front suspension link off once. I Highly recommend both! Great video as always Kev!

I have 4 MT10's. 2 were brushed, on sale for $179.00ea. That I converted over to brushless for less than $35.00. My other 2 were bought before and came brushless and cost $330. each. There very fast on 3s. I like 2s for most my cars, 3s for some added excitement. I like Tamiya and Kyosho 1/10 scale buggies. so 3s is dangerous fast in them. I can buy 2) 2s batteries for $20. bucks get 30 min of drive time. I do have a 1/4 scale 26cc Marder set up for sand hill climbing. that hasn't been driven in 15 years. lol
