Today’s episode is a retrospective of a crazy, tumultuous time - from about a decade or so ago when the daily deals space exploded and truly took off, before crashing down.
Before Adam started his conferences, he cut his teeth in the whirlwind that was the daily deal space. He worked at LivingSocial, where he came in as an intern, and grew to be the head of UA and growth, managing 9 figure budgets and a team of 15 people.
He saw the company grow from four to 5000 people. He saw from close up the meteoric rise, slow down, crash and steady state settling of the daily deal space.
