Airbus already has the original design of the A340-500 fuselage and wings, which could be utilized directly in the development of the A330-1000neo. The only major modification required would be the incorporation of a three-wheel landing gear bogie, along with other features from the A330neo.

This design approach would not only enhance Airbus’s reputation but also generate substantial profits by offering customers a wider range of options.
