More to the point, what is return on capital? 5% ? Capital investment per cow? Margin per liter produced? 2p? 5p? It's a cool video...but what's the financial outcome?

How much does a set-up like this cost? Only change I think I would make that is huge is the feeding should be inside. A small minor other one is the stalls could be a bit larger as well. Otherwise I like it and would be interested in a few years if a guy can swing it. I want 150 acres tillable with 50-60 Holsteins. I am currently going to school to be a nurse. I would like to farm on the side. Robots very well could make it happen.

I see many people use drain grates and not rubber flooring and I can't figure out why? The animals' feet do not suffer and longevity is achieved.

I help run my uncle's dairy farm and I see a lot wrong with this set up. Never have outside feeding, Your stalls are not long enough, the floors are smooth, food is not kept close for the cows to eat lastly no brushes for the comfort of the cows. Just my opinion I don't know everything.
