Cages like that have been in use for over 20 years. Cheap, effective and easily made. They can catch an RPG round and stop cheap drones from dropping bombs from above.

Only people who are aren’t knowledgeable about tank defence would ever mock a cope cage. It’s part of warfare to use UAV’s. There tanks with signal jamming technology to stop drones. Drones are becoming more sophisticated therefore harder to stop

Israeli tanks couldn't even stop Hamas home-made 105 two-stage rocket propelled ammunition. Its insane how a $300 weapon can disable a $5 million piece of reinforced tank. They destroyed over 30 so far too. Either, those cheap $300 rockets are made of something unknown (magical) or those tanks have a major flaw.
