They should do a true sequel to Aliens with Michael Biehn and Sigourney Weaver. They wake up 45 years later. Maybe bring back Newt too. It will be as if alien 3 never happened, kind of like a what if…alternate timeline.

I’ll share this with you because you seem to like humorous anecdotes.
The first Alien movie came out I think when I was 5 or 6, so didn’t get to see it until my teens. BUT, the movie poster and novel were everywhere, the one with that glowing egg cracking open that said Alien over the top. Well, wasn’t in the proper age group so never heard it talked about, didn’t seriously give book or movie poster more than a quick glance and for years, I would see that image and I thought the movie was called “Allen”. Didn’t know who he was or why he had a movie.

LOL Adam it's like you and most of us are like battered wives who are hoping their partner will for sure change their ways "maybe he won't be doing that kind of stuff anymore" denial. I'm not actually laughing at a scenario like that, but it really is like the industry is a toxic partner, and they gaslight us with these trailers sometimes, trying to fool us. Maybe it won't be utter shit. We'll see I guess, who knows, lol.

I didn't even register anything on this trailer. It could be a trailer for Covenant. They seem to be using the same sets.

They really want to drive every franchise from the 70's, 80's and 90's into the ground. This franchise just like the Terminator franchise only has two movies that matter.

Adam, if you can, watch a movie called Knox Goes Away. It’s an indie thriller directed by Michael Keaton who plays a hit-man diagnosed with dementia. Nothing earth-shattering about it, but just a serviceable, intelligent, mature story with some good actors.✅

Of course it’s gonna be a strong female lead. They can’t make movies without them anymore. I remember back in the day when we got those and they stood out. You appreciated them way more nice now I feel like there’s no point even watching movies or sequels like that I’m over it atomic blonde was the last good movie I saw with a strong female character lead, we could argue Gomorrah from Marvel and nebula, but that is from a bygone era. kind of makes you miss the old X-Men movies there’s always Deadpool three
