Hello! I’m a teacher wanting to become a PA? How will my role as a teacher affect my chances of getting into PA school?

I graduated from UT Austin with the pre-reqs and clinical/healthcare/patient care experience needed for PA school. I have worked as a clinical assistant, scribe, and medical assistant for a total of 1 year (Jan 2022 - June 2023). I decided to go into education recently in September 2023 as the pay was higher and helps me save up for PA school. I’m currently still waiting on responses from PA programs. I applied to 6 programs in total got rejected by four, but still haven’t received an answer from 2.

Please let me know what you think.
