Metallic Corneal Foreign Body Removal with Needle - Patient helps with Blink!

preview_player
Показать описание
A embedded metallic foreign body being removed from the patient’s cornea. I used an 18 gauge needle with topical local anaesthetic.

Involuntary blinking can cause problems but in this case the patient blinks at almost the perfect time to assist removal....

Always check after for Seidels sign with Fluorescein. This is a way to check for corneal perforation.
