If Kobe is feeling it, there’s absolutely no reason Kobe couldn’t beat LeBron in a 1v1. Kobe played in a slow era and used to get hot like Steph Curry, he did that by being one of the 3 best scorers ever and the best at making tough shots.
Combine that with being comparable to LeBron defensively even though he’s 60 pounds lighter and you have your case. I have no bias and love all the players.. I would probably lean Kobe on this one.

At the end of the day Lebron is arguably the best player ever; Kobe is put in that conversation when he realistically shouldn't be higher than 6th all time. Bron got the size advantage. But honestly, most nba players in a 1v1 wouldn’t miss so unless Bron blocks him Kobe prolly gonna score every time. And if Bron gets it first, he’s gonna score every time too.

Depends on the rules and their motivation. If you are given unlimited time on offense then it‘s probably Bron since he would just post him up and then back him down until he‘s under the basket (the size difference is just too much). It‘s pretty boring but still effective. It‘s precisely also why Shaq is the most unguardable player 1v1.
If we saying 3 dribbles only then Kobe might honestly win like 11-3. Bron‘s jumpshot is simply to weak and he won‘t be able to get to the rim in only 3 dribbles.

Kobe is 12 time all defense. Not saying he can stop LeBron but he could get one or two stops which is all he needs. Prime LeBron was really trigger happy with his blocks so I think that Kobe could have an edge with his elite footwork. And if the game is close I know Kobe gonna hit the big shots and seal the deal 11 to 9
