This series went from being a traditional JRPG with a paper aesthetic to more of an action-adventure series about paper.

Bowser in these series had it rough, but peach got into an event that requires Sacrifice or possession that turns her into a villain. Man Paper Mario series got dark but at the same time, some endings, even the cutscene hit us hard like man, Bobby's cutscene in Origami hit hard.

TTYD: Peach but darker
Super: A man with a broken heart and Luigi but creepier
SS: Bowser but shinier
CS: Bowser but very powerful because he has the N-word pass
TOK: A emo who hates Toads (racism?)

SPM will always be my favorite story/ending but OK really did an amazing job, me and my friend where playing it together (my friend was just providing commentary), and honestly the both of us were in tears at the end.

I think we can all agree that Dimentio was one of the most powerful beings in the Mario Universe

Well I've played all of them and I liked all of them, especially the new Paper Mario game.
For the final boss battle (not the entire game), overall (difficulty - representation - music - etc), this is my list
1. Super Paper Mario (Not the harderst, but the representation is great, including the plot)
2. The Thousand Year Door (Love the support from the characters, made the battle intense and "definitive")
3. The Origami King (I suck at puzzles, took me hours to end it. Visually impressive and Olly's rage mode works fantastically)
4. Sticker Star (Like the dynamic with the background)
5. 64 (Really like the change of battle with Twink and Peach, short but effective)
6. Color Splash (Great interaction with Huey in phase 2)

But it's just a list, I liked them all!
