I have a 2010 C6 3ltr. hdi which I bought in late 2017, with 48000 Km on the clock. It is in as new condition. I am in Australia so I think there are very few 3ltrs. here, most are 2.7ltr.
I have doubts that they may become an investments in years to come as parts are hard to get and will be expensive. I use it as my daily car because I want to enjoy it now, although yearly Km. are very low. And I can confirm, it is a joy to drive.
