Creamy Four-Cheese Sauce Recipe
Serves 6
Ingredients:
¼ cup butter, cubed
1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
1½ cups half-and-half
1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
4 oz. fontina cheese, shredded
½ cup shredded provolone cheese
¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
Directions:
In a large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until
smooth. Gradually stir in half-and-half. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for
2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat; stir in cheeses
until melted and add fresh parsley as desired.
