I made myself an antlion set yesterday, plus 3/3 fresh defense, now I am basically a desert person

Since ant eggs were so rampant when the update launches and fungus is all over the haze. I decided that 5-6 bombs per den mother was a quick and fast way to get access to salt, mint and chachas, and since mint is super useful to raise that sizzle defense. I would say. Bring 10-16 bombs to blast your way into shade and materials the first time you go into the sandbox

I built a huge base by the water in the back corner opposite the sand castle.helps get ant lions and the water instantly stops sizzle . And I built a huge stairway and built a zipline to my main zipline tower . Another reason why I have 12 dew collectors at my sandbox base

I think I need to build a small outpost to finish this area. I'm built by the pagoda for my main base. Been exploring the table and trash site, before entering the sand box. takes me so long to travel between the two

My setup for the Sandbox is
Gear: ANTLION armor
Weapons:Heavy crossbow and mint mace, if u don't have the salt star or antlion sword
Mutations: Mom Genes, fresh defense, coupe de grass, the high arrow damage mutation and buff lungs

Hugging the wall also helps with the sizzling.. stand against the wall of the sandbox counts as shades aswell.. eventho there is non

When you've eaten 1 mint shard and you're now Level 1 Fresh Defense, do you need to eat 5 more to get level 2 or just 4 more mint shards?
Coz if I'm not mistaken (I'm not sure about this. maybe I just miscounted) I got my Spicy Safety by eating 1 to get Level 1, then 2 more to get Level 2, and another 2 to get Level 3.

I made a tiny base there now one of my favorite armor sets is ant lion mostly for its looks and how good it is for the sand box

Just go there at night lmao. No sun no sizzle
