Ha, ha, ha...Everyone knows that there will offers of money and gifts to people in power...as a way of buying their goodwill and favours...Being in the govt once, I know this very well...The morally upright thing to do is to politely refuse...as taking anything for free...makes one obligated...The offerors of gifts, favors know this very weĺl...possibly from experience..as many will be takers....and will do their biddings..The cat is out of the bag now!!!...She herself admits she had received "expensive gifts"
