Even though I don't know what all your tools are and what each are used for, I found myself totally into your video. I thought to myself, think of how many different things start with just a tree of some type. My brother was a master craftsman with wood. He could make anything asked of him. He restored many of the old office buildings downtown Fort Worth, Tx. including shelves, furniture, etc. I'm looking at my mantel that he and I together designed. It is enormous, but gorgeous. I just lost him two months ago and I miss him so much, it hurts. Watching you reminded me of him. Brought back some wonderful memories of times I shared with him in his shop.  I will continue watching your videos. You have a special gift. God Bless You.

Wood working is so satisfying! Brings me back to working with my dad in his workshop helping him remodel our family home. We installed an entire sunroom, refinished our basement, and built a beautiful wooden liquor bar and pool table. There was nothing he couldn't do and he taught me so much and all of this was just a hobby for him. He owned a home heating oil company as his main career. Sadly he passed away from cancer when I was 18... but I took a lot of his skills and DIY mentality with me in life. I'm now 35 and my wife loves that I can always fix everything in the house.... I've become the guy you call to fix things now though lol.... but I love it. From wood working to electrical work to my dad taught me a lot. Now calling someone to help fix something at my house is the LAST resort. Unless walls are going up or it's something that's physically impossible for one person to do, I'm doing it all solo!

It's not the tools, it's the eye and the talent. Impressive to see a remarkable work of art being made, more over out of an otherwise useless piece of wood... Nice river table, thanks !

Had the nicest day today went for supplies at HD and didn't have enough, had to put the shellac  back. This gentleman came up to me and gave me the shellac I had put back as a gift. I want to say thank you very much if he's from around here.

Man that turned out awesome, Johnny! Is the glass just completely floating? I'm thinking with my kids that wouldn't be a good idea. But man is that thing sexy.

Chill dude, I like that he gives the credit where it's due and in turn gives himself credibility to the viewer.

That table looks so awesome man. The rabbits to make it look floating really set it off. Nice touch.

I love the slight "floating" top you created by routering the legs

I am curious to why you chiseled and sanded down the "live edge" of the pieces of wood because I feel that having that stuff is the reason you chose to have a live edge in the first place. I can understand removing pieces that aren't stuck on well. Almost forgot to say though, awesome channel man, commentary is perfect for each project, keep it up!

Russian River Brewing!!! Every time I make it out to Santa Rosa I stop in. Great beer. As for the table, that is on my bucket list of wood working projects. So thanks for the video!

Great work Johnny! Next time when dealing with end grain on the router table, if you do the end grain first, any tear out will be removed when you do the long grain.
