After getting pummeled by severe thunderstorms, the Atlantic quiets down to the gentle breezes and the slightest of swells. At times almost like lake sailing.

Folks, you can give this a big thumbs up before you even watch the video!
Kevin shows you what those first few days are all about during a major crossing. The fatigue, the daunting miles ahead, and oh yes, the nagging feeling of " did I check it all" are clearly in play in this video.
Thank You Kevin for keeping it real!

Just a nod and an appreciation for you, your boat, and your coverage of this trip. I have so enjoyed the vids. They are honest, straightforward, and entertaining. Thanks for inviting us to join you for the ride. Cheers! And good sailing to you.

Delighted to see you were able to make the passage Kevin. It looked like Mother Nature was trying to tell you to stay as you tried to exit the Chesapeake. Wow. Dramatic departure for sure. Looking forward to following your progress.

I hear very strong sense of confidence in the way you approach this easterly trip. May the wind be at your back.

I really enjoy your videos! Much better than the over edited productions most sailing channels go for. Safe travels.

Love the channel! Watching you go makes me think crossing the ocean is not as scary as I thought! Ordered a shirt, cheers!

Great idea using a mast step on your rudder for emergency boarding from the water. I rigged up a rope ladder that I can reach and deploy from the water for the same purpose.

Kevin: You are a Sailor's Sailor! Best channel on youtube. Thanks for sharing your voyage across the pond. Could you tell us your watch schedule and are you using AIS? Good luck with the light winds.

Nice work! We do like it a lot. That's some very serious sailing that you're doing there. Great narration and awesome footage too. Respect, and thank you. We can't wait to see more of it. Cheers!

I see now, at the end of your video, I too saw, a lake like at the center of the Atlantic, just before a really huge storm, may your journey be blessed fresh water, fish, and a fair wind!
