Welcome to the wonderful sport of archery...I'd say your doing just fine and I've been shooting arrows for probably 45, + years, and for someone new to archery...keep it up, doing great, just remember when sighting in is to follow the arrow in target. And congrats on your first deer in your first season, that's a task in its self for any hunter. Keep shooting straight

Tip: dont pull with your finger, wrap your finger around the trigger, loose fingers and keep pulling until shot goes off
