Hello everyone and welcome to my video on the Hydrobot Terminator from the Terminator Salvation timeline , this video will go into details about this aquatic based killing machine .
There arnt many pics on the Hydrobot so I made do with what I could find .

I know a lot of people poo poo'd Terminator Salvation but god damn did I love the new bots it introduced. Excellent video buddy!

While there were problems. Terminator Salvation was the last decent Terminator movie that got put out there. The last two got the decannon treatment because they suck.

If it is relatively fragile against gunfire, maybe it's made of a softer metal such as aluminum. Aluminum is resistant to corrosion and relatively lightweight, good for swimming in salt or freshwater.
It's also relatively cheap, so it's used in everything from appliances or drink cans to aircraft and spacecraft.
Anywhere you need a relatively lightweight, affordable, and corrosion resistant metal, aluminum is king.
Unfortunately, it is also rather soft and can be scratched or dented easily, but adding other metals can alleviate this issue somewhat.

Found the channel today, absolutely in love with the terminator lore. Great stuff man

Very cool movie Salvation was my guilty movie to enjoy and watch.

Thanks man, I've had some ideas of the HK Aquabot. Reminds me of movie I saw, "Screamers" only these are in water, so death by 100 slice, drill, and stab wounds☠️😂

Thank you! More Terminator lore was sorely needed. I thoroughly enjoy your videos.

I think the reason the Hydrobot lacks long-range comms is simple physics. Water blocks most radio waves, allowing only certain specific frequencies with VERY low transfer rates. It's like 30 minutes for a four letter word slow. It also requires very large power supplies to work, so for example, submarines can receive, but must raise an antanna above the water to call back in other frequencies to reply.

Just have a fake face or fake humans that it latches onto, but then it explodes and kills it. Or better yet clamps onto it and locks it down, inhibiting it's movement. That way you can capture it and reprogram it to work for you against skynet.
Like fishing. You could defeat xenomorphs the same way. Anything that has a pattern of behavior that it always adheres to is quite vulnerable. Human life signs would be easy to mimic. Some heat, a heartbeat noise, a very small electromagnetic field, and they're hooked.

Perhaps the underwater propulsion is Magnetohydrodynamic, that needs no moving parts and Skynet created very efficient power cells and fusion cells so it would have no shortage of energy to power it.

Another good briefing/training/ educational video.

Just found your channel. Are you going to cover the rest of the Terminator models? Liked & subbed.

Looks scary, but also doesn’t look like it’s adapted to water. Looks more like a worm than a fish. As in it would be better as a sand bot or something like a graboid.
ManicPandaz
Reminds me of the Spidermine Trap from UT3 with that drill and the ambush tactics.
Shoxic
A video about Marcus Wright would be nice. His one of a kind Terminator status.

I don’t get how a hydro bot could mark resources for later pickup by other units but couldn’t mark human targets and locations. I guess the inconsistencies help a plot to advance better. Sometimes we can forget that stories like these are written for entertainment and thus don’t have to make absolute sense, so we should just enjoy them.

Guess, no more swimming I guess if we got that in the water. Otherwise, interesting lore on this, never knew bout it. 😂

This makes sense. The Hydrobot makes getting water a scary prospect. I wonder if there is a larger submarine type.

Here’s what I want to know what was it like 3 million humans survived? How? Literally how? They got nuked 6 ways from Sunday the nuclear fallout and radiation would’ve killed them alone. Chernobyl is still highly radioactive today that was like 40 years ago
