my little raspberry pi is now a freaking movie/ tv binge watching center. You're amazing. Also, A+ for the most simplest video on youtube to do this. Seriously, you gave us like 4 steps and was like "done"
Seriously you're amazing

Thumbs up. Thanks for the info. I tried both methods and neither one worked. I used the sudo apt command and installed perfectly. I had to make some changes to read my hard drive but other than that, its now running pretty smooth on trial runs. I haven't gotten a legitimate run at it but you helped me tremendously. THANK YOU.

Great voice for radio and tutorials. Your voice reminds me of Chef John - he makes great tutorials - it's a big compliment :)

Hi, at first thank you for the guide, worked fine.
Although Kodi is working as it should I got performance problems as laggs and when trying to Exit Kodi I got blackscreen freeze. So I need to reboot the raspberry pi. Are there any new versions that should be used ?

Thanks for your videos! I do have a question. I pluged in my RPI3 before I could monitor the boot up. I guess it has loaded Raspian as default, and I don't have a selection of operating systems to choose from. I need open elect and don't know what to do now. Will you help me? Thanks

The method you showed in the video did not work but the "sudo apt" thing seemed to work. So why show all the fuss with the usb stick? Is it superior?

Everything goes smooth, but then Kodi will not launch. I then try to launch with "kodi" command in the terminal and I get "/usr/lib/kodi/kodi/bin: error while loading shared libraries: libEGL.so: cannot open shared object file: No such directory"

Installed and running. Went to play a video. Looked like it was buffering but wasnt playing, not even any sound.

Any ideas ? Could it maybe me my Pi which I think is 900Mhz CPU 512mb RAM ?

Edit: I did update to Jarvis as it's menu system is more familiar to me.

Edit 2: Using Jessie, no GUI, and kodi set to launch on powerup / reboot so AFAIK my setup is as small (non resource piggy) as it gets... not that I suspect it matters but addon Exodus which is what I also use on my phone and tablet.

Edit 3: Used cat /proc/cpuinfo, seems I have (Rev. 000e) Model B Revision 2.0 - 512Mb.
