This will sound crazy, but I'm only now on listening to this reading, noticing that Charlotte FORESHADOWED Darcy's believing Jane did not return Bingley's affection. She warned Elizabeth that Jane should show her love more plainly. I only just connected that this is a foreshadowing of the reason for all her anguish later on at Darcy's hand! How could I have been so blind!
