Ford GT40 PURE V8 Engine Sound!

I have filmed a glorious and original Ford GT40 mk2 pushed to the limit around the circuit of SPA-Francorchamps! The noise coming out the V8 engine was just unbelievable, glad to see such an iconic and rare car still meant to be driven hard!

The gt40's engine sounds like the middle ground between a cross plane and flat plane crank

It has the deep rumble of an american cross plane v8, but also has those high pitched screams of an italian flat plane v8

Needless to say, it's gotta be one of the best sounding cars on the planet

As beautiful as the GT 40 sounds, I still like the Daytona Coupe sound a little more.  The Gt 40 sounds like a hi revving pure sports racing machine while the Daytona has that unmistakable American V8 muscle car rumble that I grew up hearing.  Awh hell, I love 'em both!!
