Crazy how folks slept on this anime till it was popping again around 2013-2015 by far the most underrated samurai anime in my opinion

Samurai Chanploo was an amazing anime. Has to be considered on of the best animes ever. Fighting scenes are beautifully done, lots of comedy and boat loads of heart too.
And the soundtrack is top top level. The mix of hip hop with the old setting gives the anime a very unique vibe. I got the soundtrack after completing the anime when it first came out and recently dug it out of my old hard drive. Still holds up.

Always loved samurai Champloo because of its (relitivley) realistic katana fights, especially this one with the sunflower samurai. In Kenjutsu it's all about the single strike, they really captured that in the anime.

Makes sense, most of the time people need glasses because they either see better at longer distances or shorter distances. By taking away his glasses, there is roughly a 50/50 chance he can see better in the fight.
